Description

The USB-C to 4-Port USB is a must-have dongle for those with a USB-C device and who want to maintain their connection to all of their previously bought devices. If you want to use your USB Gen 2 devices, such as SSDs, hard drives, M.2 SSDs, and PCIe SSD, to their maximum potential today, you'll need this dongle. Moreover, you can enjoy using your old USB-A and new USB-C devices with your new USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 laptop, if that's the case. You don't need any software or drivers to use this USB-C to 4-Port (2x USB-A and 2x USB-C) data hub. Simply plug it into your laptop's Type-C or Thunderbolt 3 port and connect/transfer data between the two devices. Storing media has never been easier or more convenient!
The 4-ports also offer broad device compatibility, so you can connect up to two external hard drives simultaneously with the USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports. This allows you to back up data to or from flash drives much more quickly and efficiently.

Great hub! With it, my 3.1 gen 2 devices are reaching their full potential.

With this hub plugged into a 3.1 gen 2 USB port on my PC, I get great speeds! Even when I simultaneously send and receive data to another gen 2 drive connected to a different port on this hub. The transfer speeds were a just a bit slower of course. But they are still noticeably faster than 3.0/3.1 drives due to their hardware limitations. I wish the cord was longer though.

10Gbps, not 5Gbps like most of the others

I was attracted to this hub because I wanted to share a type-C port. This is one of the few, certainly the lowest price, hubs that I could find which worked at 10Gbps for all 4 of the ports.I don't have an easy way to check the bandwidth, but I did test various features (like DP) and it worked great.

Perfect for my new laptop, which doesn't have a standard USB port.

I like the little bit of cord. That allows you to get more things plugged in to your device, when the ports are so close together.

Allows you to connect multiple USB-C and USB-A devices to Android phones

This hub has 2 USB type A and 2 USB type C ports. This allows you to connect multiple devices (keyboards, mice, storage, etc) to an Android phone or a modern USB-C laptop.Build quality is good, it's made of metal and feels solid. When you connect this to a modern Android phone that supports power sharing, the phone will show a notification that it's "charging" the connected device (even if nothing is plugged into the hub). This is normal and expected, but might seem a bit strange since you aren't actually charging anything.Note that this does NOT support charging even though you can physically plug a USB-C charger into one of the USB-C ports and does NOT support alt modes like HDMI/DisplayPort so you cannot connect a USB-C video device to the hub. This is not a flaw, just make sure you know what you are buying.
