The product page says the charger supposed 100W passthrough but the description in the box says it supports 60W.It gets pretty hot during use as well.My first one of these died after a day of use. The HDMI port stopped working completely. Contacted amazon and got a replacement and am seeing how long it lasts.

The adapter works well for my use (with the 2016 15" MBP with touchbar). The USB-C PD passthrough charging powers my laptop (albeit just a tad slower than the 87-W charger by itself), the ethernet cord provides fast internet, and the USB-A ports are good for plugging in flash drives or my iPhone. In addition, it looks nice and feels pretty sturdy.I only have 2 issues with the product though:1) the HDMI port only works half the time (to connect my Samsung external monitor). When it doesn't work, I just unplug and re-plug the HDMI into the UPTab hub until it comes on.2) Every now-and-then, when I plug the hub into my MBP, it'll flicker the charge on-and-off. When this happens, none of the other ports are connected, and the charging indicator (the icon and the chime) just keep coming on and off until I unplug it. Similar to #1, I'll just unplug and re-plug it until it works.

As a follow up on my previous review. The car reader started to work again. But not always.Ithas now stopped completely . The unit is also overheating.This is not a cheap item. So this is not really acceptable.

Haven't had a chance to try all the port. But the ones I've tried works great.And a very attractive unit as well. Happy with the purchase.

Best Mac accessory you will ever buy. You will not need any more dongles. One dongle to rule them all. Extremely convenient if you need to work with an Ethernet connection.

So far this is working very well. I am using it on a MacBook Pro 15" w Touchbar. I use 3 external displays. One of them is being powered via the HDMI port on this without trouble while also using the power pass through and the 2 USB ports.

A very nice solid adapter that works as advertised. I connected my Mac to Ethernet cable running to router. No problem. Solid feel. Doesn’t seem to get hot.

USB does not consistently work when HDMI output is used. Also USB Microsoft Natural Keyboard does not consistently work in USB port for Windows 10 and Lenovo Thinkpad p50 when HDMI output is used. There is a lag in typing that causes repeated keystrokes or delayed keystrokes.

Lasted almost exactly 2 months before not being detected by my laptop or passing through power. While it worked, it was nice and convenient. It got warm with a 65w charger, but not hot enough to cause alarm.
